George who?

George Sandison is an editor, independent publisher and writer. He was born in 1982 and has proceeded to get incrementally older every day since with a rather uncharacteristic regularity. Misled working forays include travel & tourism, waitering and sticking labels on lampshades.

He is Managing Editor for Titan Books, working with authors and editors such as V. E. Schwab, Paul Tremblay, Stephen Graham Jones, Andrew Cartmel, Ellen Datlow, Maxim Jakubowski, H. M. Long and many more.

In his spare time he owns and runs the multiple award-winning Unsung Stories, an independent publisher of science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, horror and all the other things that take liberties with safe old mundanity.

Books he has edited have been shortlisted for many awards, including the Bram Stoker, Arthur C. Clarke, British Fantasy, British Science Fiction Association, Astounding (formerly the John W. Campbell), Shirley Jackson, James Tiptree Jr and Kitschies.

Hinterlands, a collection of his short fiction is published by Black Shuck Books, with stories selected by Ellen Datlow in her annual recommended reading lists.
